Job summary

Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Patient Care Coordinator to join the Long-Term Care team onsite at Crossroads Treatment Center of Carrick in Carrick, PA. The role coordinates medications, supports patients, and liaises with Crossroads and Altruix staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

The part-time onsite position requires PA technician registration, pharmacy experience, and strong communication skills to manage medication coordination and insurance verifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active PA Pharmacy Technician registration or trainee status is required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred; relevant experience helpful.
• Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office setting is desirable.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite liaison between Altruix and Crossroads Treatment Center of Carrick.
• Coordinate patient medication needs and pharmacy support onsite.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and prescription information in pharmacy systems.
• Assist with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and benefits investigations.
• Track pending prescriptions, refills, and documentation; communicate changes to team.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to support continuity of patient care.
