Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, performing essential inventory tasks, and supporting immunization services where permitted, with rigorous training and state licensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board licensing requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State board licensing and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If no minimum age is specified by the state board, a minimum age of 16 may apply.

Responsibilities

• Attend and perform regular shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists with patient health.
• Process prescriptions accurately and with empathy to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with inventory tasks and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Provide immunizations and off-site clinic support where allowed by law and certified.
