Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain inventory while traveling to stores as needed for coverage.

Expect robust training, compliance with state licensing requirements, and a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Minimum age 16 if not addressed by state board.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists.
• Process prescriptions safely and accurately in production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
• Provide empathetic patient service and expand clinical/technical knowledge.
• Complete inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and CVS policies.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
