Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and maintain inventory while upholding regulatory requirements and a patient-first mindset.

The role requires adherence to state licensing rules, completion of training, and strong communication skills to serve customers across shifts in a dynamic retail store environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements (age/education/licensure)
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• Duties may be restricted until registration/licensing is complete

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate dispensing
• Deliver empathetic customer service and communicate clearly with patients
• Assist with immunizations and vaccines where allowed by law
• Prepare and handle prescriptions, maintain stock and accuracy
• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient operations
