Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service in-store. You will participate in training, follow SOPs, and assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

The role requires compliance with state board rules, a high school diploma or equivalent, and licensed/certified requirements vary by state. Typical hours are 40 per week with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred).
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient services.
• Contribute to immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory activities, cycle counts, and stock management as directed by leadership.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
