Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy teams in providing safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service across our Retail locations.

You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, handle basic inventory, and help provide immunizations and other health services where permitted by state law. This role requires state licensure/certification as applicable and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and patients, providing empathetic service and a safe, inclusive environment.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists and manage inventory and daily tasks as directed by the leadership team.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies.
• Support immunizations and vaccination-related duties where allowed and trained.
