Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service. The role involves adherence to SOPs, assisting with immunizations where permitted, and contributing to a respectful, inclusive store culture.

The Technician will work under supervision to complete licensing requirements and may travel to stores within the market as needed. Excellent patient care and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate quantities, days supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: manage patient or colleague interactions and choose best course of action.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
