Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering accurate, timely prescriptions and compassionate customer service in a retail setting. You will work under supervision to ensure SOPs are followed, assist with immunizations and preventive services where allowed, and maintain a safe, inclusive store environment.

The role requires state licensure/certification as applicable, and a willingness to travel within the market for store coverage.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate and pivot between tasks while ensuring accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and care at multiple touchpoints.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues clearly and respectfully.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate totals, days supply and dosages.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague questions and escalations.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs and use manual dexterity as needed.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
