Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care at our retail locations. You’ll help manage prescription processing, engage with patients to provide a positive experience, and follow SOPs to ensure compliance and quality in every interaction.

The role requires adherence to state board rules, completion of required training, and the ability to participate in immunization services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice.
• If required, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Adhere to SOPs and ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Assist with inventory and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by law.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety per regulations.
