Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams and deliver care with compassion in our retail stores. You’ll help ensure accurate prescriptions, safety, and a caring patient experience while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires state licensure and national certification, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You may assist immunizations and other services, and occasional travel to other stores in the market may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers with regular, predictable attendance including weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
• Contribute to inventory management, including medication deliveries and cycle counts.
• Be flexible to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
