Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams within our retail stores. You will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, provide caring customer service, and participate in immunization and other patient services where allowed by law.

The role requires adherence to state board requirements, licensure, and certification, with potential travel within the market as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and on-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, incl. age, education, licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled, if not mandated by state board.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to concentrate on a task and pivot between tasks efficiently.
• Deliver customer service and work well in a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Use math to determine quantities and days supply for prescriptions.
• Identify, resolve, and escalate patient issues as needed.
