Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team, ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, and provide compassionate customer service. The role requires completing required training and meeting state licensure requirements as well as following SOPs and safety standards.

Technicians may assist with immunizations and participate in clinic services where permitted, while maintaining attention to detail and a patient‑focused approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus to concentrate on a task over time and pivot between tasks.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation to assist patients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with patients and coworkers.
• Carry out duties to ensure safe medication handling and patient safety.
