Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in store operations, prescription fulfillment, and patient care. You will help ensure safe, accurate dispensing while delivering compassionate service to customers. Training and state registrations will be completed as required by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for the practice of pharmacy.
• If no minimum age is set by the state board, candidate must be at least 16.
• If no minimum education is set, candidate must have HS diploma or be enrolled.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including weekends and complete required training on time.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and patient care.
• Assist patients with a friendly, empathetic service experience.
• Confirm prescription details and labeling for accuracy and safety.
• Handle inventory tasks and participate in cycle counts and returns.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Adapt to scheduling needs and maintain a safe, inclusive team environment.
