Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service across CVS locations.

Role requires adherence to SOPs, regulatory standards, and comprehensive training. The technician will assist with immunizations, inventory, and customer care while maintaining strict safety and privacy practices.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care to create positive patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and ensure proper handling of deliveries and cycles.
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel within market stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
