Job summary

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service in our retail stores. You will complete required training, meet state licensing standards, and help immunize customers where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or enrollment
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support pharmacy workflow at production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off stations.
• Provide empathetic customer service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with inventory tasks and stock management as directed by leadership.
• Seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge for patient care.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services such as immunizations where permitted by law.
