Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support our pharmacy team in CVS stores. You will help with prescription fulfillment, patient communication, and provide care that upholds our standards.

The role emphasizes compliance with state regulations, safety, and accurate service at the counter, drive-thru, and phone interactions. Technicians complete required training and may pursue immunizer status where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care in person, over the phone, and through drive-thru interactions
• Completing basic inventory activities and restocking as directed by the leadership team
• Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback; expanding clinical and technical knowledge
• Remaining flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business
• Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, standards and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Delivering additional health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed by law and training
