Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient care at our retail locations. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs and service excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance.

From completing training to meeting licensure requirements, technicians contribute to a welcoming, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operation with opportunities to assist immunizations and point‑of‑care services

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers with empathy and care while serving patients.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists in patient safety and accuracy and to protect patient privacy and security.
• Support immunizations and other services where permissible by law and required training.
