Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient prescription fulfillment. The role emphasizes patient service, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs across all workflows.

The technician will assist with immunizations where allowed, maintain inventory, and demonstrate compassionate care while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If state board does not mandate minimum age, applicant must be at least 16 years old.
• If state board does not address minimum educational requirement, high school diploma or equivalent is required or applicant is actively enrolled in HS or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off).
• Provide empathetic, caring service to patients and customers.
• Contribute to inventory activities and assist in returns-to-stocks and waiting bin inventories.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law, with required training.
