Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering accurate prescriptions and patient-centered service in our retail stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where trained, and help manage inventory while delivering compassionate care to patients.

The role requires compliance with state board requirements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and part-time hours with a pay range that reflects market rates for the region.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If state board has no minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum education required, a high school diploma or equivalent is required or active enrollment in HS or equivalency program.
• Licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy and care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with inventory tasks, returns-to-stocks, and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and trained.
• Communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy team to ensure safe dispensing.
