Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in our stores. You will assist pharmacists with prescription processing, patient interactions, immunizations support, and ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing.

The role requires compliance with state Board of Pharmacy rules, a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and math skills, and a willingness to travel within the market if needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in required training within the designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and maintain patient-focused interactions.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues using verbal and written channels.
• Apply mathematical reasoning to determine drug quantities and day’s supply.
• Identify and resolve patient or teammate issues with professional judgment.
