Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care in our retail stores.

You will help ensure smooth pharmacy operations, assist with immunizations and other services where allowed, and follow all state and federal requirements and company SOPs as part of a busy, customer-facing team.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Where the state board of pharmacy does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver patient service with empathy at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Maintain patient privacy and security in handling prescriptions.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active enrollment in high school or high school equivalency program
