Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. The role emphasizes following SOPs, communicating with patients, and maintaining inventory while upholding privacy and security guidelines.

You will participate in immunization services where allowed and travel between stores in the market as needed. Prior experience and state licensure are preferred, with a training program provided.

Qualifications

• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in a program.
• 1–3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, labeling and dispensing.
• Provide compassionate patient service at pick-up and drive-thru windows.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with CVS policies.
