Job summary

CVS Health Retail stores seek a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service. You will assist pharmacists, perform inventory tasks, and help provide immunizations and point-of-care services where permitted.

The role requires meeting state board requirements and maintaining licensure, with a typical weekly schedule of 35 hours and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent if required by state board guidance.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with deliveries and cycle counts per procedure.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and trained.
