Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with workflow at production, pickup, drive-thru and phone, and help maintain a welcoming, compliant pharmacy environment.

The role requires completing necessary licensure/certification and meeting state requirements; strong communication, accuracy, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, licensure and certification.
If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16.
State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety.
Provide empathetic, patient-centered service at pickup, drive-thru and phone.
Assist with inventory tasks and drive efficient store operations.
Support immunizations and additional health services where allowed by law.
