Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering safe, efficient prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service in our Tennessee stores.

You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, immunization-related duties where allowed, and travel to other stores in the market as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent and state licensure/certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements; age and licensure rules vary by state.
• High school diploma or equivalent if not addressing age/education rules, active enrollment acceptable in some cases.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and ensure patient safety.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow.
• Provide empathetic patient service and address questions at pick‑up and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and assist with stock management and cycle counts.
• Be flexible to travel between stores in the market as needed by the business.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and security.
• Deliver additional health care services (e.g., immunizations) where legally permitted and trained.
