Job summary

CVS Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions. You will help patients, follow SOPs, and contribute to a compassionate service culture within a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires state licensure or certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and across market stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board of pharmacy licensing or certification requirements.
• When a minimum age is not defined by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or actively enrolled in program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular and predictable scheduling including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru and phone.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by law.
