Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate patient service. You will learn and follow SOPs, ensure efficient workflow, and assist with immunizations and vaccination support where allowed by law.

Eligible candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced retail environment, comply with state licensing requirements, and maintain high standards of safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru and over the phone.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Be flexible for scheduling and market-wide shifts as needed.
