Job summary

Sam's Club in Paducah, KY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, insurance claims, and patient services. You will process prescriptions, enter data into our pharmacy software, and assist with patient transactions in a fast-paced setting.

Minimum state requirements apply; certification (PTCE or ExCPT) must be obtained within 9 months of joining. Candidates should be comfortable with TaSCO system and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCE) or NHA ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.
• Experience with pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist patients with medication purchases and insurance claims.
• Fill prescriptions: count, pour, label, and verify medications.
• Maintain pharmacy area: stock, rotate, and restock merchandise; handle returns and compliance.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and create patient records.
• Provide member service at the prescription drop-off and pickup windows; resolve issues.
