Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases at cash registers and related hardware.
• Maintain the pharmacy area, manage claims and returns, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor prescription fulfillment, process insurance claims, and handle pickups and documentation.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription fulfillment and patient/customer service.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and maintain patient records.
• Fill prescriptions and assist with returns, transfers, and third-party processing.
• Collaborate with managers and coworkers, prioritize tasks, and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to company policies and the Open Door Policy.

Education

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA ExCPT
