Job summary

Sam's Club in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the prescription fulfillment process and member services. You will operate cash registers, handle payments, and assist with pharmacy merchandising and inventory control.

You will help processing third-party insurance claims, enter prescription data, and assist patients with purchases while maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance. The role requires state qualifications and timely certification.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician and obtains certification within 9 months of job entry.
• Provides patient service, processes prescriptions, and handles third-party insurance claims.
• Maintains pharmacy area, merchandising, and safety in accordance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases at the register and handle various payment types.
• Stock, rotate, and price pharmacy merchandise and displays.
• Assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and insurance processing.
• Provide patient service, verify data, and maintain HIPAA compliance.
