Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota seeks a pharmacy technician to provide telephone support to patients, providers and pharmacies, verifying eligibility and coordinating delivery of prescribed medications. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, enroll patients and manage intake for various mail order and specialty programs.

Two primary requirements include at least three months of pharmacy technician experience and MN license; preferred candidates have call center

Qualifications

Three months pharmacy technician experience.
MN Pharmacy Technician license (Pharmacy Technician MN).

Responsibilities

Complete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.
