Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota is seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment to support the delivery of medications in a complex specialty/mail order setting. Under the direction of the Pharmacist, you will prepare orders, ensure accuracy and safety, and assist in coordinating deliveries to patients and clinical areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, collaborating with pharmacists, and adhering to all regulatory and Fairview policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy technician training program within first year of employment
• Ability to become registered as a technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
• Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program (preferred)
• MN Pharmacy Technician registration (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure patients receive medications accurately, safely, and in a timely manner
• Fulfill and prepare prescription orders for delivery in compliance with all laws and Fairview requirements
• Coordinate ordering and delivery of medications, supplies and equipment to patients and clinical areas
• Maintain stock levels and inventory records, perform cycle counts and reconciliation
