Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 3 years experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, including typing and billing orders and quality control.
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery and track using pharmacy systems and EMR.
• Contact patients to ensure delivery and manage returns.
• Determine patient eligibility for pharmacy benefits and assist programs.
• Coordinate with benefit programs to ensure patient coverage and access to medications.
• Open and close registers and maintain transaction records.
• Provide multilingual patient support and translation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational SOPs.
