Job summary

CommUnityCare is seeking a Pharmacist to join a community/retail pharmacy team in Texas. You will ensure safe dispensing, review patient regimens, provide counseling, and maintain required records while collaborating with providers and staff to support patient-centered care.

The role requires a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, 1-5 years of relevant experience, Texas license, and CPR certification. A strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• 1-5 years of experience in retail or mail order pharmacy.
• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy license.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately as prescribed.
• Conduct patient drug regimen review and provide counseling as required.
• Prepare and maintain required records per regulatory standards.
• Communicate with patients, providers and clinical staff as needed.
• Collaborate with care team to provide patient-centered care.
