Job summary

CareMetx LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in a regulated healthcare environment. You will label, count, and stock medications, assist with patient consultations, and help manage prescription information and inquiries.

You will work under supervision, ensuring compliance with division and regulatory requirements, while providing efficient customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Flexibility in schedule and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years directly related experience; certification with a state or national organization.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Labels products under Pharmacist's supervision, counts medications, stocks drugs, and assists customers.
• Retrieves, counts and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist with information for patient consultations, including dosage, frequency, and interactions.
• Assists Pharmacist in price checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses and retrieves prescription information from computer; may troubleshoot equipment.
• Refers doctors' calls and customers' medical inquiries to Pharmacist.
• Directs and coordinates with other Pharmacy Technicians; monitors shift demand and inventory.
