Intermountain Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Home Delivery Pharmacy Team in Midvale, UT. You will support pharmacists by preparing medication orders, assisting with prior authorizations, and coordinating with providers, payers, and care teams to prevent delays in therapy.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy and drug distribution.
• Lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in disciplinary action up to termination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and assist in compounding as allowed.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks with the pharmacist.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled substances inventories.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Support Intermountain Health mission and service behavior standards.
