Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support both kiosk management and in-pharmacy operations. You will drive between the physical pharmacy and kiosk locations, refill kiosks, prepare inventory shipments, and assist pharmacists with prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of computer and web based tools experience.
• Valid and active driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items.
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes.
