Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a licensed/certified pharmacy technician for on-site fulfillment at the Central Fulfillment facility in Midvale, UT. The role involves assisting pharmacists, preparing orders, and ensuring accurate medication packaging for home delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, state certification/licensure, and knowledge of regulations governing pharmacy practice. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or state license.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and controlled substances.
• Disciplinary action may occur for non-compliance or lapse in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and compound as appropriate.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks by the pharmacist.
• Fill and monitor medication supplies, including controlled substances inventory.
• Communicate with caregivers about responsibilities and safety concerns.
