Job summary
Intermountain Health in Midvale, UT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our Specialty Pharmacy team. The role is full-time at the Supply Chain Center with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and partial remote work after training.
Top candidates bring strong retail pharmacy experience; duties include assisting pharmacists, handling patient information, preparing medications, and maintaining inventories with compliance to regulations. Benefits eligible and pathways to growth.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification/license applicable to state of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for pharmacy practice.
- Any lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in disciplinary action.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision.
- Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in collecting patient information and maintaining records as required.
- Prepare medication orders and perform calculations using pharmacy technology.
- Maintain medication supplies and verify controlled substance inventories.
