***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Document care delivered and follow-up care required by all Health Care Providers (HCPs).
  • Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed on new developments, policies, and efforts.
  • Assist with managing daily activities and prioritizing tasks.
  • Use a computer to access email, electronic calendars, and support software.
  • Follow all applicable standards and guidelines of Acuity.
  • Maintain patient dignity and observe the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Dispense prescription drugs and healthcare products, and perform pharmacy-related functions.
  • Support the development of extended clinical pharmacy roles, including ensuring drug security and inventory control.
Qualifications:
  • Completed a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate’s degree.
  • At least two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
  • Maintain current CPR certification.
  • Recent clinical patient care experience within the past year for at least 6 months.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the U.S. for 3 of the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods are involved.
