Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Beaumont, TX to support its mental health pharmacy operations under supervision of a Pharmacist. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm CST, at 2750 S. 8th St., Building A.

Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions, clerical tasks, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. Texas license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and verify under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist and keep the pharmacy compliant with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
