UnitedHealth Group's Genoa mental health pharmacy in Manchester, CT is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to dispense prescriptions under a pharmacist's supervision and handle clerical duties. The role requires an active and unrestricted Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license and reliable transportation.

Hours are Mon-Wed 8:30-5:30, Thu 8:30-4:30, Fri 8:30-4:00 with a 12:00-12:30 lunch. Benefits include PTO, medical, dental and vision, 401(k), education reimbursement, and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license
• Access to reliable transportation
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinics
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements
• Perform clerical duties related to the department
• Communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written form
• Other duties as assigned
