Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support its mental health pharmacy in New Castle, PA. The role emphasizes dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and performing clerical duties to maintain smooth operations.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Active PA licensure or a trainee license with license progress within 6 months is required, with preferred certification and data entry experience.

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Trainee License with ability to obtain full license within 6 months.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist the pharmacist and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Education

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license

Pharmacy Trainee License with ability to obtain state license within 6 months
