Position Objective:
Under the direct supervision of a Maryland-licensed pharmacist and in coordination with other technicians, the Pharmacy Technician-Medication Reconciliation (Med Rec) performs a comprehensive admission medication history for patients in predetermined focus areas of patient intake. An accurate medication list is created to enable effective medication reconciliation. This role requires knowledge of commercially manufactured drug products available on the retail market, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong customer service abilities.
