Responsibilities

• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Answer phones and respond to questions or requests.
• Prepack bulk medicines, label and affix labels.
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations according to prescriptions.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas; sterilize glassware.
• Price and file prescriptions that have been filled.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing them to the pharmacist.
• Receive and store incoming supplies; check stock against invoices; inform supervisors of shortages.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
