South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts at our Weymouth, MA location. The role involves filling unit-dose medication orders, replenishing automated dispensing cabinets, and assisting with sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed.
Under supervision, you will repackage medications, barcode unit-dose packages, and support inventory for the Central Pharmacy. Massachusetts license (RPT/RPI) and CPhT/ExCPT certification are preferred.

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Supervisor, and/or Director of Pharmacy Services, performs a wide variety of Pharmacy duties to meet the needs for patients in the hospital. Pharmacy Technician duties include filling routine drug orders for unit dose medications, refilling medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets, performing Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding . Other duties include repackaging of medication into unit dose barcoded packages, replenishes code carts drug supply and performs inventory duties for the Central Pharmacy operation.
Pay Range: $24.50 - $35.00
Preferred High school level of education.
Minimum of 3 months work experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred. Hospital pharmacy experience desirable.
Requirement to practice a profession. Licenses are granted by a licensing board in accordance with state law. Example - Registered Nurse (RN) RPT or RPI - Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Intern
