Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts at our Weymouth, MA location. The role involves filling unit-dose medication orders, replenishing automated dispensing cabinets, and assisting with sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed.

Under supervision, you will repackage medications, barcode unit-dose packages, and support inventory for the Central Pharmacy. Massachusetts license (RPT/RPI) and CPhT/ExCPT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• Minimum 3 months experience as Pharmacy Technician.
• Massachusetts license/registration/certification requirements (RPT/RPI).
• CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill routine drug orders for unit dose medications.
• Refill medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
• Perform Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding.
• Repackage medications into unit-dose barcoded packages.
• Replenish code carts drug supply and perform inventory duties for Central Pharmacy.
