Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician II at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role is dedicated to supporting pharmacists and providing high-quality pharmaceutical care in a community-focused health system.

Evening schedule is 12:30pm–9:00pm on weekdays with some 9:30am–6:00pm shifts; weekend coverage 7:30am–4:00pm, every third weekend. Competitive pay and a robust benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT and ExCPT) is required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT and ExCPT)

We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech II

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift, 12:30pm – 9:00pm during the week with occasional 9:30am – 6:00pm shifts. 7:30am – 4:00pm on weekends; Every third weekend

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

• Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT and ExCPT) is required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $18.40 – USD $28.29 /Hr.
