Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacy Student/Technician for per diem shifts at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Shifts include Day/Evening with weekend and holiday rotation; vaccines must be administered as required.

You will support pharmacists with routine tasks, under supervision, providing safe, accurate medication handling and patient-centered care. Qualified candidates are enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program, with MA Intern or technician registration and two years of

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college of Pharmacy program to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• Completion of the first two years of study for pharmacy curriculum is required.
• MA state registration as a Pharmacy Intern or technician is required.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Intern is required.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement by signing a statement.

• Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Student/ Technician performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

We are searching for a talented Pharmacy - Student Tech

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 2:30pm - 11:00pm (primarily 6:00am or 7:00am start time) with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

• Completion of the first two years of study for pharmacy curriculum (i.e., starting first professional year curriculum) is required. MA state registration as a Pharmacy Intern or technician is required.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Intern is required.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
