Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in inpatient and specialty pharmacies under pharmacist supervision. You will deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and manage take-home medications while supporting quality control processes.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and Ohio licensure, with PTCB or ExCPT within 90 days. Travel to satellite locations may be required; the role supports patient care and system-wide service standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ with no felony convictions per OH law.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.
• Must have PTCB certification or ExCPT within 90 days of hire.
• Must be registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy or become registered Certified within 90 days.
• Willing to travel to external satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, delivers pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacy.
• Delivers medication related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists Pharmacists in quality control for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
